Debbie Reynolds Hospitalized

Debbie Reynolds Hospitalized, "Singing in the Rain" actress Debbie Reynolds was forced to cancel three months of shows after reportedly being hospitalized. Also famous for her role in "Tammy and the Bachelor," the 80 year-old actress has remained active, doing life concert tours. But after an adverse reaction to medicine, Reynolds has been hospitalized.

Reynolds' song "Tammy" which she sings in the movie, topped music charts in 1957. She has received a number of Academy and Golden Globe nominations, including an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in "Will and Grace." Reynolds also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

But as of Wednesday, the actress still remained in the hospital.

"Debbie was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles due to an adverse reaction she experienced to a medication she was currently taking," her rep said in a statement. "On the advice of her doctors, Reynolds has been forced to cancel appearances and concert engagements for the next three months."

Reynolds had three upcoming performances, three in November and one on Dec. 9 in San Diego California. Reynolds hopes to return by the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day, during which she is set to sing on the "Follow the Stars, Adopt a Pet" float according to FOX News.

Reynolds was married three times, her first marriage to Eddie Fisher in 1955, which ended after he fell in love with Elizabeth Taylor. Reynolds is also a star in the popular Disney movie, "Halloweentown" and its subsequent spin offs. She has two children.
